K-12 & College Level In-Service Presentations

Ocean Conservation Society has developed a series of in-class presentations on marine mammals and conservation for grades K-12 and undergraduate college levels. These segments are intended to familiarize students with local marine mammals and their habitat. Presentations also focus on conservation issues like pollution, storm water runoff, and harassment, and are designed to help students understand that local action can contribute to global change. These presentations may also be integrated into existing curriculum as a general introduction to Marine Ecology.
