The Ocean Conservation Society is funded solely through contributions, sponsorships and grants, so your participation is very important to us.

We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit California corporation. All contributions are fully TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Your contribution can pay for another day of Los Angeles Dolphin Project research or can cover the cost of a school presentation. Every little bit helps! Claim "fair market value" for your boat donation by donating your boat to OCS. We'll put it to work conducting whale and dolphin research and on-the-water educational programs as one of the next OCS research vessels!

Changes in the tax laws governing donations went into effect as of December 31, 2004, which may limit the deduction that a donor may claim, unless the nonprofit actually uses the boat, which we will! Please consider the tax-deductible donation of your boat to help us continue our work.

We also need a wide variety of equipment for our research and educational projects. Equipment may be donated and is fully tax-deductible. Here are a few examples of what we need:
